Watford today announced a new multi-year partnership with Stake.com, the sports betting and crypto casino platform. Beginning with the 2021/22 season, the deal will see Stake become the club’s primary shirt sponsor on their return to the Premier League

As Stake continues to expand, the partnership with Watford FC will leverage the global appeal of the Premier League to drive brand awareness around the world, particularly in the UK as the launch of the Stake.co.uk
To celebrate the start of the partnership, Stake reports that it will execute crypto-themed initiatives, including a 10 million Dogecoin giveaway on its international platform. In addition to this, UK audiences will be able to see many other promotions and giveaways when Stake launches its UK website, Stake.co.uk
Founded in 2017, Stake.com has more than 30 billion transactions per year – it reports – accounting for more than 5% of Bitcoin transactions worldwide, according to its accounts. It adds that the partnership with Watford FC marks an expansion of Stake’ s sports sponsorship portfolio,
following the brand’s introduction as the official betting partner of UFC in Latin America and Asia in March.

This will be an extremely exciting campaign for the club as we return to the Premier League and we couldn’t be happier to join with a partner that matches our ambitious outlook and commitment to innovation to achieve success.”
Mladen Vuckovic, CEO of Stake.co.uk said: “The last few years have seen steady growth for Stake and this partnership with Watford marks the next chapter for our company.
