This, he detailed, is “one of the most frequent demands of the entire ecosystem”. The fact that Argentine users are requesting to have the possibility to buy cryptocurrencies with credit cards has its origin in the prohibition to do so abroad. According to Communication “A” 2863 of the Central Bank of the Republic.

Argentina from October 2019, financial institutions in the country must request authorization from this entity before making operations that involve accessing the exchange market with companies abroad.

This, it was believed, could affect the purchase of cryptocurrencies by users, although various actors in the sector confirmed to CriptoNoticias that this is not the case, since for the purchase of cryptocurrencies it is not necessary to access the exchange market.
