The new NFT project codenamed N has already reached a market capitalization of over $40 million. “N” draws handfuls from the popularity of Loot and is spreading, so far, like fresh buns.

If you still don’t know what would happen if you minted a few thousand tokens on the Ethereum blockchain illustrating nothing more than a list of imaginary artifacts associated with fantasy-style games, be sure to read the article below:

What if you got rid of all that and instead minted 8888 tokens containing only the digits zero through fourteen, printed in serif font, and told people to use them “any way they wanted”?

You would then have an NFT collection with a market capitalization of 10,256 ETH (about $40 million) called The N Project. It is currently (just three days after launch) the fifth most popular NFT project. The average sale price of one NFT in the collection is currently 1.15 ETH ($4,537).

You could say that the anonymous creator of Project N is cashing in on the original NFT collection called Loot by Don Hofmann. The tokens in the series, along with a wide array of companion projects (including BGLD) are currently some of the hottest things on Ethereum.

Someone else might say that N is a brilliant meme. How is it really?

The craze for N

Project N seems to be another innovation related to Loot, consisting of 8,000 random lists of items – weapons and artifacts straight out of fantasy RPGs. N perfectly compo

It is also related to other “branches” of Loot, such as Loot Visions, Abstract Loot, and The Grand Exchange

. N seems to have infinitely more potential, however, as a programmer can associate these numbers around any game or base wonders like this on them:

Either way

, Loot remains, for now, bigger than any of its derivatives or offshoots. Released on August 27, Loot currently boasts a minimum price of 12.8 ETH (about $50,000) and a total trading volume of $226 million. That doesn’t change the fact that the numbers around Project N are undoubtedly impressive.
