In total, Maluma released a series of five non-fungible tokens, developed and designed by Colombian graphic artist Alejandro Robledo Mejia, known as RMA, who has worked with the singer in the past.

Many of the tokens have already been put up for resale by their initial buyers.
Maluma expressed in a video posted on his social media to promote the collection that the release “marks a new beginning in the artistic expression” of his career.

In the Maluma Papi Life piece, the glasses were drawn by Maluma himself and carry a special message written by him.

The artist behind the work
Robledo Mejia was also the creative mind behind the stage graphics, effects and animations of Maluma’s latest tours, including his current tour called “Papi Juancho Maluma World Tour”.
The digital artist has said on other occasions that working with Maluma is, for him, “a unique experience” because it allowed him to “push the boundaries” and thus be able to “transport his fans to a world they had never experienced before”.
He has also worked with Marvel Studios, Paramount Pictures, Legendary, Netflix, MTV, Apple, Facebook, NFL Networks, Verizon, The History Channel, Natgeo and others.
More urban music artists win with the NFTs
Like Maluma, Puerto Rican singer Ozuna also launched his NFTs last February.
The collection called “Ositos” by Ozuna, were made up of the logo with which the singer can be identified through his music videos and albums, as reported by CriptoNoticias.
Another artist who offered for sale an NFT was the American rapper Jay-Z. This media reported that the interpreter of hits like “Empire state of mind” or “Niggas in Paris”, became a non-fungible token the cover of his first album called Reasonable Doubt. With the difference that the cover of the album was a reinterpretation of the same, made by the artist Derrick Adams.
