A Strategic Battle for Elrond (EGLD) – The project gives fans or cryptophiles in general looking for new thrills in Decentralized Finance, the opportunity to share $100,000 in eGLD cryptocurrency rewards via the Battle of Yields
. In return, participants will contribute to the improvement of the Maiar Exchange in several ways.
A $100,000 Stress Test for Elrond’s Maiar Exchange
Elrond is launching
the Battle of Yields, a competition with a $100,000 prize pool to share, to encourage security researchers, DeFi experts, and other participants to identify potential security issues, bugs, or flaws in the Maiar Exchange, among other things.
Participants will be rewarded not only for security-related discoveries (bug bounty), but also for their contribution to improving existing documentation, writing new documentation, creating guides, developing strategies
The rewards amount to $50,000, paid in EGLD tokens, for contributions to strengthening security by identifying flaws and vulnerabilities that can be used to steal funds or disrupt normal operations. They are $25,000 for contributions related to creating tools for the exchange such as trading bots, complementary smart contracts, etc., identifying bugs and “epic suggestions”, and finally improving documentation or writing a short story, but also creating guides in different formats – articles, video, infographics, etc.
Elrond also runs a yield farming competition. Participants start with the same number of tokens. They will be able to trade, provide liquidity, and yield farm to increase their holdings. The winner will get $25,000.
Note that the entire competition will be based on test tokens allocated equally to all participants, after passing a basic KYC and validating a participation form; the Maiar application will be required to participate, you can download it in advance
A regular in the tests: from Battle of Nodes to Battle of Yields
Elrond launched his mainnet about 14 months
The mainnet with sharding, staking, smart contracts, and other features has had no notable outages or security incidents.

This reliability could be explained in part by the mainnet’s stress-testing logic through the Battle of Nodes
an event that preceded the launch of the main network. Battle of Yields has similar goals for the exchange. It allows to test the exchange, to enrich the relevant documentation, to create new features, in order to improve the security of the exchange, its performance, and its user experience.
Registration for the Battle of Yields is open until September 12, 2021, 23:59 UTC. The competition starts on 14 September 2021 at 11:00 UTC and will end on 28 September 2021 at 11:00 UTC. Rewards will be distributed by October 8, 2021, in $EGLD tokens at the 7-day average price of the EGLD/USDT pair.
Elrond continues to not only develop its ecosystem, but also improve it. The project has assets that place it alongside giants like Bitcoin (BTC) or Ether (ETH), as evidenced by this bill in Panama that aims to allow the use of multiple cryptocurrencies in the country.
In order to better discover the Elrond Network project and test its potentialities yourself, don’t hesitate to download the Maiar app. The app will indeed be essential, both to participate in the Battle of Yield but also to take advantage of future airdrops and other features related to the network’s Decentralized Finance services.
